Experimental free beta

Chains is currently a personal experimental free beta maintained by Andrey Kovlyagin as an individual. It is not presented as a registered company product, paid service, or commercial offering during this beta. Operator details are listed in the Legal Notice.

The beta is provided for testing and feedback. Features, availability, data formats, integrations, limits, and access may change during the beta.

Who can use Chains

Chains is intended for professional and work collaboration only. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. If you use Chains on behalf of an employer or another organization, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

No paid-service commitment

Chains does not currently charge fees, accept payments, accept donations, sell advertising, or promise paid services. The beta does not include service-level commitments, uptime guarantees, support guarantees, or production-grade availability promises.

Account access

You can register with an email address you control. Chains sends a link to that address, and your account is created only after you open it. When you join through a workspace invitation, you must use the invited email address.

Beta registration may be limited, paused, changed, or withdrawn. Accounts may be restricted or removed if needed to protect the service, other users, or the integrity of the beta.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and account access secure. Do not share access in a way that compromises the service or another person's data.

Acceptable use

Do not use Chains to:

• break the law or violate another person's rights;
• upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the service;
• probe, scan, or bypass security controls;
• send spam, abuse invites, or impersonate another person;
• upload data that you do not have permission to use in the beta.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content, files, workflow information, comments, and other data you add to Chains. You grant only the permission needed to store, process, and display that content to you and to the workspace participants you share it with, in order to operate, secure, and support the beta within the limits described in the Privacy Notice.

You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to upload and share your content, including any personal data of other people it contains. During the beta, use test or low-risk data unless you have a clear reason to do otherwise, and keep your own copies of anything important.

Ending the beta or your account

You can stop using Chains at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. Before the beta is shut down, or before the maintainer terminates your account, you will receive at least 30 days' notice by email, during which you can ask for an export of your data.

Shorter or no notice may apply when an account is restricted or removed because of abuse, a security threat, a breach of these terms, or a legal obligation.

Workspace administrators can remove members from their workspace at any time. Removal takes effect immediately and deletes the member's account; it is not subject to the notice period above.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Chains is an experimental service provided as is and as available, without warranties of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. Data may be lost, and no service-level commitment applies.

To the extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for data loss or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the beta. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for damages that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change during the beta. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using Chains and ask for your account to be deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence or of your right to bring a claim there.
